DESCRIPTION

DUS OV5750 is a Mobile-Robots from Demcon unmanned systems. It is built for Mapping, Surveying, Inspection.

The DUS OV5750 is Demcon unmanned systems' offshore uncrewed surface vessel, type-approved for hydrographic survey and data collection and class-certified to DNV's craft standard (DNV-ST-0342) and the DNV-CG-0264 notation for autonomous and remotely operated ships. Mission-critical power, propulsion, situational awareness and communication are triple-redundant, and it operates in sea states up to 6. The self-righting aluminium hull is 6.80 m long (5.75 m for transport, so it fits a 20 ft container), 2.10 m wide, 2.20-3.50 m high and draws 0.45 m. Hybrid propulsion - two 15 kW rim-driven main thrusters and a 15 kW bow thruster, two 10 kWh lithium batteries and two 6.4 kW generators burning HVO biofuel, with solar backup - gives 8 knots maximum, 4 knots cruise, a range of 1,100 nautical miles and up to 30 days on station. Cameras, thermal cameras, lidar, radar and AIS give 360-degree awareness, and its moonpool, deck, mast and towing points carry survey sensors as well as aerial and underwater drones.
