DESCRIPTION

Swadheen is a Mobile-Robots from Rekise Marine. It is built for Data Collection, Mapping, Surveying. Key figures: 250 kg, 720 min runtime.

Swadheen is a 5-metre autonomous surface vessel (ASV) for offshore bathymetric surveys, developed by Rekise Marine with the shipbuilder GRSE. It carries a multibeam echosounder through a moonpool in its hull and can operate alone or as a coordinated swarm, launched from shore or from a mother vessel. The narrow composite and anodised aluminium hull measures 5 x 0.6 m and weighs about 250 kg depending on payload. It is IP68-sealed and self-righting, with an azimuth stern thruster and a bow thruster for full dynamic positioning, and redundant computers, navigation sensors and propulsion. Endurance is 12 hours at 4 knots and top speed is 6 knots. Navigation uses dual-antenna GNSS with IMUs, and the vessel senses its surroundings with AIS, LiDAR and cameras. IP radio, telemetry radio and 4G/5G links give about 10 km line-of-sight range, and it charges in the water. Submerged payloads include multibeam and single-beam echosounders, side-scan sonar, an imaging ROV, USBL, water-quality sensors, a sample collector and a winch-deployed CTD. The vessel is aimed at hydrographic and environmental surveys, defence and surveillance missions, port and harbour work and subsea infrastructure inspection.
