DESCRIPTION

DUS V3000 is a Mobile-Robots from Demcon unmanned systems. It is built for Mapping, Surveying, Inspection. Key figures: 350 kg, 1440 min runtime.

The DUS V3000 is Demcon unmanned systems' award-winning, fully electric uncrewed survey vessel, developed with Van Oord's hydrographic survey team for data collection from shallow inland water to rough nearshore saltwater. It operates beyond visual line of sight, combining multi-sensor situational awareness and autonomous navigation with redundant mission-critical components and cybersecurity, and Demcon says multiple vessels have been deployed on projects worldwide. The standard vessel measures 3.00 x 1.30 m (length available from 2.50 to 6.00 m; Martens en Van Oord bought a 4 m V4000), stands 1.30-2.00 m with the mast down or up, draws 0.35 m and weighs 350 kg dry. Two 11 kW rim-driven main thrusters and a 5 kW bow thruster give 8 knots, and two 5 kWh lithium batteries provide up to 24 hours or 70 km, recharging in under 4 hours; a biodiesel or fuel-cell range extender is optional. The aluminium hull has five watertight compartments and a moonpool with interchangeable payload brackets, and Demcon's patented dynamic positioning supports station-keeping, weathervaning, loitering and virtual anchoring.
