DESCRIPTION
The MV-2 is DOK-ING's light demining machine: 2,500 kg, 3,515 mm long and only 1,315 mm tall, small enough to be carried by air or road to a minefield that a heavier vehicle could not reach. It works by remote control, so the operator stands clear while the machine drives over ground that may be mined. A 55 kW (75 HP) engine producing 260 Nm at 1,400 rpm drives the tracks and the clearance tool, burning 8 to 12 litres an hour. DOK-ING builds the hull from Hardox 450 wear plate and offers fast tool exchange, extended EOD capability, day and night operation, self-recovery and mapping of the cleared area — the same feature set as its larger siblings in a package one aircraft can move.
