DESCRIPTION
Delivery Robot is a Delivery-Robots from Avride. It is built for Delivery, Last-mile food and grocery delivery. Key figures: 720 min runtime, 25 kg payload.
Avride's Delivery Robot is a four-wheeled autonomous sidewalk courier that carries food and groceries from restaurants and stores to customers' doors. About the size of a piece of hand luggage (915 x 659 x 851 mm), it drives at 5-8 km/h along sidewalks and pedestrian zones and crosses marked crosswalks on its own, reading traffic lights and yielding to cars. Its hatch holds 25 kg - six 42 cm pizzas plus five 1.5-litre bottles - in a multi-order compartment. Three sensor layers keep it safe: a lidar that sees objects up to 60 m away in any light, colour cameras that recognise traffic signals and emergency vehicles, and ultrasonic sensors that stop it almost instantly when something appears in front of it. Cameras blur faces and licence plates. It runs up to 12 hours and 50 km on a swappable battery with a wireless charger, is IP66 water-resistant, has suspension for 6-inch obstacles, works from -30 to +55 C, and shows animated 'emotions' and audio cues to people around it. Avride reports 160+ robots built, 200,000 deliveries and operations in five countries including the USA and South Korea.
