CyNoid 7A

DESCRIPTION

CyNoid 7A is an Industrial-Robot from CynLr. It is built for Assembly, Machine-Tending, Material-Handling.

CyNoid 7A is the mobile version of CynLr's vision-guided manipulation robot. It puts seven-axis arms on a wheeled base that drives itself between workstations, for example to tend a row of five CNC machines, and switches its task logic at each cell. The extra joint in each arm gives it room to move in cramped workspaces. It runs the same Object Intelligence stack and CLX vision system as CyRo, so it can handle unfamiliar and reflective parts without pre-programming, and it uses force-torque sensing for tactile jobs such as snap-fit assembly. The base plans its route on the fly around forklifts and people, and the robot can unpack or prepare parts while it travels. Several CyNoids can share tasks and coordinate traffic as a fleet. It runs on battery while moving and plugs into AC power when parked. A retractable stand turns it into a rigid stationary workstation for long, high-precision or high-torque work. CynLr lists machine tending, press assembly, part feeding, bin decanting, kitting and package sorting as applications in automotive and electronics plants.

FEATURES

  • Mobile robot with 7-axis arms on a high-mobility wheeled base
  • Redundant degrees of freedom for movement in cramped workspaces
  • CLX vision system and Object Intelligence: handles unfamiliar and reflective parts without pre-programming
  • Force-torque sensing for tactile tasks such as snap-fitting
  • Multi-station operation, e.g. tending a row of five CNC machines
  • Multiplex operations: switches task logic between work cells
  • Multi-CyNoid fleet coordination
  • Dynamic in-motion assembly on moving conveyors
  • Repositions its base to reach obstructed parts
  • In-transit processing (unpacking, part prep while driving)
  • Dynamic path-finding around forklifts and people
  • Dual-mode power: battery while moving, AC tether when stationary
  • Retractable stand for a convertible stationary mode
  • Shares CyRo capabilities: multi-perspective vision, vision servoing, slip detection, failure re-attempt, in-air reorientation, dual-arm compliance
  • Applications: machine tending, press assembly, part feeding, bin decanting, kitting (robot to goods), package sorting
