The Burro Grande 15 is Burro's heavy-duty autonomous electric transport platform, designed to work alongside people and tow or carry loads across nurseries, farms and yards, indoors and outdoors. It combines machine learning, high-precision GPS, 24 sensors including cameras and a 360-degree 3D LiDAR that sees 40 m (120 ft), and Burro's Pop-Up Autonomy; with BOSS PLUS a site is mapped once with road and traffic rules and any user can then send Burros around it, day or night. It has 12 hp, four-wheel drive with each wheel independently driven and braked, 18-22 inch R1, R4 or non-marking tyres, a standard 2-inch receiver hitch and a pallet-size flatbed. It carries 1,000 lb, tows up to 5,000 lb on flat paved surfaces, reaches 5.8 mph and runs 15+ miles on 48 V, 10 kW lithium iron phosphate batteries that charge from empty in under 12 hours. Burro gives the Burro Grande as 56 in tall, 58.75 in long and 48 in wide, with a 50 x 48 in steel payload area and a total weight of 1,081 lb (490 kg).
