DESCRIPTION

Burro is an Agricultural-Robots from Burro. It is built for Material-Handling, Transport, Harvest assist: following crews and carrying produce. Key figures: 227 kg payload.

Burro is the original collaborative autonomous robot from Burro, a small electric four-wheel-drive carrier built to amplify harvest crews. Using computer vision, high-precision GPS and AI, it follows people, runs taught routes on 'digital train tracks' through complex settings even where GPS is unavailable, follows crop rows and scouts, stopping for real obstacles and people while travelling through tall weeds and branches; one trained Burro's knowledge can be shared across a fleet, and it works out of the box with Pop-Up Autonomy and no central infrastructure. It has 5 hp, four right-angle gear motors, 14-inch R1 lugged tyres and a removable top tray for stacked bins, carries 500 lb on flat hard surfaces, reaches 5 mph and runs up to 10 miles on 2.56 kWh LFP batteries. It is IP65 rated to work all day at 110 F (40+ C), and has cameras, bumper bars, an E-stop, flashing lights, an adaptive horn and chime alerts for safety, with fleet tracking on an online dashboard and over-the-air updates every two weeks.
