DESCRIPTION
Adam-U is PNDbotics' upper-body humanoid platform for data collection and embodied-AI training — the full-size Adam's torso, 13-DoF arms and 3-DoF braked waist mounted on a height-adjustable column stand (1.35-1.77 m) so it matches human workspaces. Its 31 total degrees of freedom and biomimetic structure produce movements close to real human actions, and because the hardware is family-identical to Adam, algorithms trained on Adam-U migrate to the full-size biped at zero cost. It pairs with Noitom's PN Link wired inertial motion-capture suit and Meta Quest 3 teleoperation (Pro configurations), runs 8+ hours with use-while-charging, and ships with wiki documentation, SDK and ROS2 Humble support. The Ultra configuration bundles a post-trained Being-H vision-language-action model and a 10,000+ entry manipulation dataset for out-of-the-box dexterous picking.
