YMBot Type E3

The YMBot Type E3 is the unskinned educational version of the Type E — the same 140 cm frame at 35 kg, but presented as a white-and-black robot rather than a costumed character, and specified for teaching and research rather than performance. It carries 27 degrees of freedom excluding its optional five-finger dexterous hands, roughly half the Type E's count, and the numbers that matter for a lab platform are the ones Yunmu publishes here and nowhere else in the range: repetitive control accuracy of 0.1 degrees and a maximum five-finger grasping force of 50 N or more. Dual-arm collaborative payload is a modest 2 kg, which is honest for a machine this size. It moves at about 1.2 m/s and runs roughly two hours in motion on a 10 Ah pack. The head carries an audio-visual-electronic display, the body is modular so it can be reconfigured for different courses, voice interaction is optional and various sensors can be fitted, and it speaks ROS2 with a URDF model over CAN Bus and EtherCAT.
