Nino is a small humanoid robot from Sirena Technologies built for classrooms from preschool through secondary school. It combines voice, vision and motion in a compact body so that students can learn robotics hands-on with a working robot rather than by watching demonstrations. The robot stands about 1.5 ft (roughly 46 cm) tall, weighs 5 kg and has 18 degrees of freedom. It runs on Android together with Sirena's SAINT AI framework and carries touch, infrared and IMU sensors, dual stereo speakers, dual microphones for voice recognition, commands, speaker identification and text-to-speech, RGB LED eyes for expression, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Sirena quotes a battery life of about 4 hours and shows groups of Nino robots performing synchronised routines. Nino is the core platform of Sirena's SKIP robotics programme, used in preschool, school and engineering-college labs. Sirena's news page reports a Nino V-2 delivered to a government school at Bhawai-Bhalona in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, in February 2026, and partner testimonials from GITAM, Jeppiaar Engineering College and Shoolini University describe students programming Nino.
