Guoxing RXR-MC80BD
BESCHREIBUNG
The RXR-MC80BD is Guoxing's flagship explosion-proof firefighting and reconnaissance machine, built to the CB3836-2010 standard and rated Exdib mbIIB+H2 T6 Gb — a marking that includes hydrogen, which is what lets it work around refineries and chemical plants where an ordinary motor would be an ignition source. The whole machine is explosion-proof, not just the enclosure. It carries an imported water cannon flowing 80 L/s of water or foam more than 80 metres, on a mount that rotates and tilts through a full 90 degrees of elevation so it can fight fire in any direction including overhead. A lifting mast raises the sensor head from under 1.5 m to over 1.9 m to sample toxic gas at different heights, and it detects six types of toxic and flammable gas, collects multi-channel imagery, carries an infrared thermal imager to find the seat of a fire through smoke, and speaks two-way with the control centre. It protects itself as much as the crew: a sprinkler head produces a double water curtain for self-cooling in high heat, and it has anti-overturn and anti-collision functions. At up to 800 kg it tows two 80 mm hoses over 100 metres and runs more than five hours.
