Zeroth W1

The Zeroth W1 is a tracked mobile robot built for work outdoors. A 28 kg body on rubber tracks carries 20 kg of payload and tows up to 50 kg, clears 50 mm obstacles and climbs 20-degree slopes, which lets it cross grass, gravel and pavement that defeat wheeled machines. It is pitched at two jobs. As a security robot it patrols continuously with 360-degree mobile surveillance, a 13 MP camera for stills and a 2 MP monitoring camera, RGBD depth sensing, ultrasonic and passive-infrared human detection, and it integrates with smart-home systems to relay intrusion and smoke alerts. As a camping and outdoor companion it hauls gear, follows its owner around a site, and doubles as a power bank, delivering 60 to 120 W over USB-C and 18 W over USB-A from a 360 Wh pack. Compute is an eight-core Horizon Sunrise-series CPU with 8 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Navigation uses GPS and BeiDou, with dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 4G for connectivity. The head is expressive - motorised eyebrows, eye sockets, nod, shake and a 50 mm neck lift - and the robot recognises faces, human shapes and gestures, takes multi-language voice commands, and can be driven manually from a two-handed grip controller or an Android, iOS or HarmonyOS app.
