The Scuba S1 is Aiper's best-selling robotic pool cleaner, with more than 500,000 units sold worldwide, and the model that opened the redesigned Scuba series in 2023. It runs on caterpillar treads rather than wheels, which gives it the grip to climb pool walls, and it filters 4,200 GPH - about 15,900 litres per hour - into a 3.5 L debris bin, across a rated 1,600 sq ft (150 m2) of pool. WavePath 2.0 planning routes it around the pool, and it can work shallow areas down to 12 inches. Rather than being started by hand each time, the S1 takes a weekly custom cleaning plan set from the app, running cycles of about 45 minutes on a 48-hour rhythm so the pool is maintained without anyone thinking about it.
