Sold by the Shenzhen maker as the 'Tosima W3 Dual Direction Auto-Spray Window Cleaner Robot', the W3 belongs to Tosima's line of window cleaners. It holds itself to vertical glass by suction and moves across the pane on its own, wiping as it goes. Water is sprayed from both sides through stainless-steel ceramic nano-nozzles fed by an 80 ml tank, which sprays every five seconds and covers 70-80 m2 of glass per fill; a sensor warns when the tank runs low. Tosima's spec graphics give a variable-frequency suction range of 2200-3600 Pa from a NIDEC brushless motor, adjusted to how dirty the glass is, although the page's own bullet text quotes 3800 Pa. The robot plans an S-shaped route on its own across four cleaning modes and returns to its starting point when finished; the remote can also steer it up, down, left or right for spot work, and a mobile app offers the same control. Edge detection keeps it on the pane. It runs from mains power and must be tethered with the supplied safety rope. A built-in UPS with a 650 mAh battery keeps it attached and sounding an alarm for 20-30 minutes if power is cut. The body measures 27.5 x 13.8 x 8 cm and ships with a storage case and 12 microfibre cloths.
