The TAGON Roller is 3S Robotics' conveyor-top AGV for automated production lines. A powered roller conveyor on its upper module loads and unloads goods by turning its rollers, and a stopper holds the load in place while the robot carries it to the next destination, so it can exchange totes and boxes with fixed conveyors in both directions and shorten logistics lead times. It carries up to 50 kg on an 800 x 540 x 310 mm, 80 kg chassis and drives at up to 0.8 m/s with +/-10 mm accuracy, using differential drive, optical or magnetic guidance and 2 m obstacle detection. A 24 V, 29.6 Ah battery gives about 8 hours of running without load and recharges in up to 2 hours; dispatch runs over Wi-Fi through the ILC system.
