A1Z is Galaxea's ultra-light force-controlled six-axis arm, sold on being genuinely portable: 5 kg in total, set up without tools, and in the company's own phrasing placed, used and moved. It reaches 626.5 mm radially and 722 mm vertically, carries 3 kg rated at full reach with a 5 kg peak, and repeats to a tenth of a millimetre. It sits alongside the A1 and the lighter A1 X in Galaxea's three-arm range, and like the rest of Galaxea's hardware it is aimed at embodied-AI work — development benches, teleoperated data collection and research — rather than at production line duty.
