Sanbot Nano is Sanbot's home service robot, which the company presents as the first home robot powered by Amazon Alexa Voice Service. It offers companionship, educational content for children, video communication, home monitoring and online entertainment for the family, answering voice commands with 360-degree sound localisation from seven microphones. About 848 mm tall and 19 kg, it moves on three omni wheels at up to 0.8 m/s, sees with two RGB cameras, a 3D sensor and an 8 MP camera, shows content on a 10.1-inch 1080p touchscreen, turns its head 180 degrees and swings its arms, and avoids obstacles with 15 infrared sensors. A 20 Ah lithium battery gives about four hours of use and over ten hours on standby; it connects over dual-band Wi-Fi and ZigBee and runs on ROS.
