Dimalog's drive-through bin changer system is designed for transporting standard plastic storage bins. The system consists of a Top Module with two shelves, one of which opens backwards and the other opens forwards, as well as a drive-through, two-shelf drop-off and pick-up station. When a vehicle drives through the station, the robot, equipped with the Bin Changer Top Module, drops off a bin from the upper shelf onto the station's upper shelf and picks up a bin from the station's lower shelf and places it on the lower shelf of the top module. This solution is ideal for material replenishment and manufacturing work in progress material movement. It is built on the Omron LD-90 mobile robot platform. The video was shot at Kemppi Electronics Factory in Lahti, Finland in January 2019.
