Autonomous Access in Action: ANYmal, LEGIC & dormakaba Automate Secure Doors

A real Swiss ANYbotics ANYmal legged robot performs industrial inspection by badging through locked doors on its own. The film shows the robot carrying a secure LEGIC credential, triggering dormakaba door hardware, entering restricted rooms, and letting the door close behind it, tested at GE Vernova's Whitegate Power Station in Ireland. Plant staff explain that closed doors used to abort inspection missions, while this setup lets ANYmal take hundreds of readings daily instead of a yearly contractor visit. It is a practical European collaboration that makes a working inspection robot more useful in secured plants.
