Apptronik Apollo humanoid robot at #nvidia #gtc2024

Apptronik Apollo is a glimpse of what NVIDIA envisions as the future of robotics. It was a big deal at GTC 2024 and represented a merging of GenAI with humanoid robotics which as been the rage of late. I'm not sure how ready we as a society are in the adoption of humanoid robots but apparently they are here in form. Clear military applications, no doubt, but can they be used reliably and safely with humans? This is an old questions that is still waiting for an answer. I do think that the Omniverse is finding a nice role in providing the training ground for these droids for their suitability and safety to be tested.
