The Unitree Go1 has arrived at Trossen Robotics and it is here to stay. Quadrupeds in general have been receiving a lot of public attention lately. As Unitree's North American reseller, we thought we should share a little about their history, why they make sense from an evolutionary standpoint, their purpose in robotics research, and why the Go1 is such an impressive quadrupedal research and secondary development platform. The model shown in this video is the Unitree Go1 EDU Plus (2D LiDAR) Do not hesitate to reach out to [email protected] with any questions or inquiries about Unitree products! 0:00 Intro 0:22 Uncanny Valley 1:50 Go1 Sensor Overview 2:37 Autonomous Following 3:00 This is not a Toy 3:43 The Type of Research Done with the Go1 4:15 Electronic Muscles 4:40 A Low Cost Modular Actuator for Dynamic Robots 6:14 System Architecture 6:55 SLAM 7:27 Github Secondary Development Packages Ben Katz Thesis: https://dspace.mit.edu/handle/1721.1/118671 Learn More About Us: https://linktr.ee/interbotix https://github.com/unitreerobotics/unitree_ros https://github.com/unitreerobotics/unitree_legged_sdk https://github.com/unitreerobotics/unitree_ros_to_real https://github.com/unitreerobotics/unitree_ros2_to_real https://github.com/unitreerobotics/UnitreecameraSDK
