Zoei-S is DF Automation & Robotics' omnidirectional autonomous mobile robot: mecanum wheels let it move sideways, diagonally and rotate in place, so it can work in tight spaces and line up precisely with workstations, and it is designed as a base for collaborative robot arms and to meet clean-room requirements. The low 1,100 x 600 x 277 mm body carries 300 kg, travels at up to 0.76 m/s with 3,150 N traction, crosses 166 mm gaps and 23 mm steps and climbs 7%. It navigates by laser natural features with markers for ±10 mm docking accuracy, runs about 8 hours or 10 km on a 51.2 V, 50 Ah battery, and recharges in about 2 hours on a wireless charger.
