DESCRIPTION

The MC40D is an autonomous firefighting robot built for sites where high-value equipment sits densely packed — substations, petrochemical plants, power stations, rail transit, steelworks and battery storage. When a fire starts it drives itself to the seat of the blaze, dragging a hose behind it from the duty point, and suppresses the fire without sending anyone in. The hose handling is the part that usually defeats a fire robot, and YIJIAHE solves it with an automatic reeling device paying out 100 metres of 65 mm bore hose, plus automatic hydrant coupling that opens and closes the supply itself. The monitor is a 40-class water cannon rotating and elevating through 90 degrees. On a tracked chassis measuring 1,500 by 950 by 1,300 mm it can be driven autonomously or teleoperated, and it sees through a visible-light camera and dual-light gimbal with LiDAR and ultrasonic sensing, with front lighting for smoke. Six toxic and flammable gases are detected on board. Sealing is split by exposure: IP67 for the chassis that will be standing in run-off, IP65 for the electrical equipment above.
