DESCRIPTION
Vulcan is a Cleaning-Robots from Kody Robots. It is built for Cleaning, Sanitizing. Key figures: 254 kg, 240 min runtime.
Vulcan is a heavy-duty autonomous floor-scrubbing robot from Kody Robots for large indoor areas such as airports, factories, warehouses, hospitals, malls, metro stations and office parks. It scrubs the floor and recovers dirty water with a rear suction squeegee, working without an operator once its area has been mapped. The robot measures 1,160 mm long, 580 mm wide and 1,210 mm high and weighs 254 kg without water. It has a 510 mm scrub deck, a 790 mm suction squeegee, a 70 L clean-water tank and a 50 L recovery tank, travels at 4 km/h, climbs 6% grades and is rated at up to 2,040 square metres per hour. Positioning and obstacle avoidance use a fusion of laser and vision sensors. It is offered with either a 24 V, 120 Ah lead-acid battery giving about 4 hours or a 25.6 V, 100 Ah lithium-ion battery giving about 3.5 hours, and a workstation can refill, drain and recharge it automatically. Replaceable modules and disinfection functions extend it to other cleaning tasks, and staff follow its runs through real-time monitoring and statistics. Kody says each Vulcan is built at its facility in India.
