DESCRIPTION

The VMB series is DENSO Robotics' large six-axis industrial robot line, offering longer reach and higher load capacity than the company's traditional models. Two variants are sold: the VMB-2515, reaching 1,506 mm and weighing 230 kg, and the VMB-2518, reaching 1,804 mm and weighing 250 kg. Both carry a 25 kg payload, repeat to +/-0.05 mm and achieve cycle times of 0.29 to 0.31 seconds. The series is built for palletizing, packaging and general material handling. External wiring and piping have been eliminated in favour of enhanced internal routing, and a full-coverage structure suits the robots to cleanroom and sanitary work. With IP67 protection and ISO Class 5 compliance available, the VMB is used on electrical-parts lines, in food manufacturing and in pharmaceutical and medical-device production. Standard, protected (IP67) and cleanroom variants are offered.
