VEX V5 is an Educational-Robots from VEX Robotics. It is built for Education.
VEX V5 is the fifth generation of VEX Robotics' education robotics system, aimed at grades 9 to university and used by more than 11,000 VEX V5 Robotics Competition teams worldwide as well as in VEX U and VEX AI. Its metal mechanical system pairs approachable parts for beginners with aluminium and high-strength components that give experienced builders open-ended design possibilities. The V5 Competition Super Kit includes the V5 Robot Brain, V5 Controller and Robot Radio, a 1,100 mAh lithium-ion battery, eight V5 Smart Motors with gear cartridges, an AI Vision Sensor and bumper switches, plus aluminium C-channels, high-strength gears, sprockets, chain, omni and traction wheels and conveyor parts. Teams program their robots in VEXcode with blocks, Python or C++.
