DESCRIPTION

Verity Inventory Drone System is a Warehouse-Robots from Verity. It is built for Data Collection, Inventory, Scanning.

Verity's system uses fully autonomous indoor drones to count and check warehouse inventory without a pilot. The drones fly the racking aisles at night or on weekends when traffic is low, scan barcodes in three dimensions at height with onboard high-resolution cameras, photograph every pallet location to spot missing, misplaced or empty slots, and return to a charging pad on their own; results flow to a dashboard and into the warehouse management system. Verity, founded by Kiva Systems co-founder Raffaello D'Andrea, says its drones reach 99.9% inventory accuracy, need unplanned maintenance in fewer than 1 in 50,000 flights and are modular for easy expansion. They are installed in more than 100 warehouses including sites for UPS and Maersk North America, and the company now sells them as part of a wider warehouse-intelligence platform.
