DESCRIPTION
Turf Tank One is a Mobile-Robots from Turf Tank. It is built for Painting, Service, Sports field line marking. Key figures: 60 kg, 240 min runtime.
Turf Tank One is Turf Tank's original autonomous line-marking robot for sports fields. A groundskeeper sets up the base station and robot in about five minutes, loads paint, picks a field layout on the tablet and presses go; the robot then paints the field on its own at a constant speed and spraying pressure, which Turf Tank says cuts paint use by 50% or more compared with manual marking. Like Turf Tank's other line markers, it navigates by RTK-GNSS with a local base station, stores line coordinates so it can over-mark exactly on the original lines only when fields are in use, and is controlled from a tablet app with more than 120 sport layouts, a drag-and-drop field editor, dashed and custom lines, and paint and time estimates. It paints natural grass, artificial turf, infield dirt and asphalt, and two individually powered brushless motors drive it over uneven ground. The robot measures 1,027 x 852 x 930 mm, weighs 60 kg, carries 5.3 US gallons (about 20 L) of paint - enough for an American football field without refilling - and paints at 0.6 m/s, with a 680 Wh battery giving about 4 hours, or at least four full-size 11-a-side soccer fields per charge.
