The TM-2050 is ECHO Robotics' large-area GPS-RTK professional robotic mower for football pitches, golf courses, sports facilities, parks, stadiums, businesses and turf farms. It covers up to 75,000 m2 (one to five sports pitches per robot) with five floating heads and 30 stainless steel blades over a 1,033 mm cutting width - about three times the capacity of standard models, says the maker - and handles slopes up to 45%. It weighs 71.9 kg, runs quietly at up to 65 dB, uses about 830 kWh a year (some 300 euros) and has a repairability index of 9.8/10; five sonar units detect obstacles. Belrobotics sells the same robot as the BM-2050. It navigates by GPS-RTK with Wisenav, ECHO Robotics' wireless navigation, to within about 2 cm and without boundary wires, mows in straight patterns across multiple zones, and with Wisecut automatically adjusts its cutting height (from 10 mm) to suit each area. Floating cutting heads with stainless steel blades follow uneven ground and finely mulch the clippings back into the turf, and sonar units and safety sensors stop it for obstacles or people. Over Wi-Fi/4G, the Connect app lets managers set zones, cutting heights, schedules around pitch or course use and monitor mowing cycles remotely; a local partner installs it. ECHO Robotics says its robotic mowers work in rain and cold.
