DESCRIPTION
Stereotaxis GenesisX RMN System is a Medical-Robots from Stereotaxis. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Surgery.
GenesisX is Stereotaxis' most accessible robotic magnetic navigation system: the speed, responsiveness and ease of use of Genesis in a form built to remove the barriers to hospitals adopting it. It has received a CE mark, and Stereotaxis gave its first live public demonstration at the Heart Rhythm Society meeting in San Diego in April 2025. The design attacks installation. Every system component has been miniaturised, and installation can be completed over a single weekend, minimising disruption to the lab. Magnetic shielding is built into the structure of the system itself: when the robot is parked, the magnetic fields are contained within its base, so the room can be used for the full range of robotic and non-robotic procedures with no lab modifications. The system is semi-mobile, moving away from the patient table to leave full access for the attending staff, and it can be removed again with no lasting impact on the lab. As with Genesis, the physician steers a magnetically tipped catheter by having the robot reposition external magnets, and Stereotaxis invites prospective users to drive the system remotely before committing.
