DESCRIPTION

Sky-Watch RQ-70 Dainn is a Military from Sky-Watch. It is built for Reconnaissance, Monitoring. Key figures: 9.2 kg, 480 min runtime.

The RQ-70 Dainn is the longer-reaching half of Sky-Watch's RQ pair, built to operate beyond the immediate tactical frontline and stay there. Where the Heidrun gets close quickly, the Dainn trades that for endurance: up to eight hours aloft and a 100 km transmission range, enough to hold persistent awareness over a large area across a long reconnaissance window. It is configurable rather than fixed. Operators can set it up for fixed-wing range, for long-range endurance with a wider 4.5 m wing, or for VTOL when launch and recovery space is constrained — the case that usually decides whether a fixed-wing aircraft can be used at all. Onboard edge compute runs mission applications directly on the aircraft, including detection-recognition-identification, visual navigation for GNSS-denied flight, and Call for Fire workflows. It launches from the hand by a single operator with deep-stall recovery, and deploys in under fifteen minutes. It shares the Zentra payloads, ground control station and mission software with the RQ-35, so operators move between the two with little retraining.
