Shuttle Eco is an autonomous feeding robot sold by BouMatic that mixes rations and drives them to the feed fence on its own, delivering small, precisely measured portions of fresh feed to each animal group, such as calves, heifers, fresh or dry cows and the milking herd, around the clock. It runs on modern batteries and carries a mixing hopper made of a wear-resistant synthetic material. The robot collects each ingredient from a feed kitchen port or, with the separate Lift, straight from the silage clamp, blends forage with concentrates, minerals, water and liquid components, and records every component in the software so feeding can be compared with milk yield or daily weight gain. A scraper floor empties old feed from the ports first, and the whole system is planned and monitored from a smartphone, tablet or PC through the same interface as BouMatic's other feeding robots.
