DESCRIPTION

Shihe HighMate V40 Ultra is a Cleaning-Robots from Shihe Technology. It is built for Cleaning, Coating. Key figures: 89 kg.

HighMate V40 Ultra is Shihe's newest-generation ultra-high-pressure water-jet hull cleaning robot, and the change from the rest of the V series is the chassis: four flexible magnetic wheel groups, each with several degrees of freedom, so the robot conforms to the curvature of the plate as it moves instead of bridging across it. That is what lets Shihe claim coverage of more than 98 per cent of a ship's external plating, including the awkward geometry - bulbous bow, bilge keel, the inverted curved surfaces at the stern. The minimum circumferential working curvature radius is 0.5 m, and it climbs obstacles over 25 mm, so hollows, weld seams, draught marks and raised fittings do not stop it. It removes rust and old paint at 35-55 m2/h using water at up to 3,000 bar and 52 L/min, in a 250 or 310 mm working width, from a 942 x 547 x 400 mm body weighing 89 kg and rated IP65. It can be run with a recovery pump so the paint and rust slurry is collected rather than washed into the dock. Three control modes are offered - manual, one-touch lane change, and intelligent navigation - all driven from a ground-level remote. Beyond shipping, Shihe lists petrochemical storage tanks, spherical tanks and bridges as target surfaces.
