Its standard sensing set is fixed rather than optional: four gases (methane, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide) alongside a 32x optical zoom visible camera and thermal imaging. Detection is where it goes beyond simple patrol — leak detection combines visible light, infrared video and laser telemetry with AI analysis of pipeline flanges and ground stains, a polygon algorithm measures device temperature and alarms on anomalies, and a deep-learning recogniser corrects for skew, occlusion and reflection when reading instruments in awkward positions. Four-wheel drive with four-wheel rotation takes it up 32-degree slopes and through 22 cm of water at 1.3 m/s, charging wirelessly.
