DESCRIPTION

Shenhao L3 Indoor Rail Hanging Inspection Robot is a Mobile-Robots from Shenhao Technology. It is built for Inspection, Monitoring, Power distribution room inspection. Key figures: 300 min runtime.

The L3, factory-coded STIR-3000, hangs from a rail in the ceiling rather than driving on the floor, which in a switch room is the difference between a robot that works and one that is permanently blocked by trolleys, cable drums and open cubicle doors. Suspended on its track it runs a fixed route with millimetre-level positioning to ±2 mm, lowering a pan-tilt head up to 1600 mm to bring sensors down to equipment level and retracting out of the way afterwards. Because it draws power from a sliding contact line it can run 24 hours without stopping to charge, with a lithium battery giving at least five hours if the line is unavailable. Its detection set is unusually complete for partial discharge: ultrasonic, ground wave and ultra-high frequency together, alongside infrared temperature measurement, visible-light recognition and environmental monitoring.
