Scout RX3 is a Cleaning-Robots from Miele. It is built for Cleaning, Service, Autonomous vacuuming of hard floors and carpets in homes. Key figures: 120 min runtime, released 2021.

The Miele Scout RX3 was the third generation of Miele's robot vacuum cleaner, launched in Germany on 1 June 2021, with other countries following over the next months. It came in three versions: the obsidian-black Scout RX3 with up to 60 minutes of runtime, the Scout RX3 Runner in bronze pearl finish with up to 120 minutes (from October 2021), and the top Scout RX3 Home Vision HD in rose-gold pearl finish, which also streamed live HD-camera images to a smartphone, end-to-end encrypted. Two front cameras formed a stereo system that perceived rooms and objects in three dimensions, calculating sizes and distances so it could recognise stairs, furniture and other obstacles and steer around them even in complete darkness, and clean systematically into every corner. At 8.5 cm high it fitted under cupboards and sofas. Miele's four-stage Quattro Cleaning Power system, an optimised motor, higher airflow and a brush roll with stiffer bristles gave up to 25% more cleaning performance on carpet than the Scout RX2, and new 20-arm side brushes improved corner cleaning. A 5,200 mAh lithium-ion battery gave up to 120 minutes of runtime, covering up to 120 square metres; when it ran low the robot returned to its charging station and then resumed exactly where it had stopped. A newly developed Scout app handled control, timers and status, it connected over Wi-Fi and could be voice-controlled through Amazon Alexa, and error handling reported exactly what had gone wrong and how to fix it. The Scout RX3 later won Stiftung Warentest's robot-vacuum test twice in 2022. Miele no longer lists Scout robots in its shops.
