DESCRIPTION
HomeRun 6000 Series is a Cleaning-Robots from Philips. It is built for Cleaning, Service, Autonomous vacuuming and rotary mopping with automatic mop washing in homes. Key figures: price 1,299 SGD.
The Philips HomeRun 6000 Series (XU6500) is a robot vacuum and mop with a self-cleaning station, sold in Asian markets. Its two rotating mop pads spin at about 120 rpm with roughly 6 N of downward pressure to scrub stains, while the front of the robot vacuums with up to 2700 Pa of suction. Back at the ultra-slim station, which combines clean- and dirty-water tanks in a 434 x 216 mm footprint, a five-step AquaWash routine rinses, scrapes, scrubs and recycles the mop water in about 90 seconds, then a fan blows around 11,500 litres of air an hour through the mops to dry them and prevent odours. LDS laser navigation maps multiple rooms to centimetre accuracy, even in the dark, and an ultrasonic sensor recognises carpets - avoiding them when mopping and boosting suction when vacuuming. The design won Red Dot and iF awards in 2023, and cleaning modes, zones and schedules are set in the Philips HomeRun app.
