DESCRIPTION

The S3 tow is the towing version of SAFELOG's compact S3 transport robot, built to move trolleys and trailers of up to 500 kg. An electric lifting bolt with 55 mm travel picks up and releases the trailer automatically, and like the rest of the S3 series it turns on the spot within less than 90 cm, is protected by a safety laser scanner and communicates over Wi-Fi with other robots and peripheral systems. Per its datasheet it measures 770 x 450 x 220 mm, weighs 150 kg, drives at up to 1.0 m/s loaded (1.6 m/s empty) and runs about 1.5 hours under load on a 24 V 21 Ah LiFePO4 battery charged inductively in about 20 minutes.
