DESCRIPTION
Responder is a Mobile-Robots from RedZone Robotics. It is built for Data Collection, Mapping, Inspection.
Responder is RedZone Robotics' hydraulic tracked crawler for multi-sensor inspection (MSI) of large-diameter sewer interceptors and tunnels, the original RedZone MSI platform developed after the company began working with the City of Pittsburgh on large-pipe inspection in 2003 and still used by its inspection crews. Its stable, rugged tracked frame lets it travel through assets other inspection units cannot reach, including pipes completely full of water, under real-time control and feedback, so utilities can inspect without bypass pumping, shutdowns or manned entry.\nIt carries on-board hydraulics, 3D scanning LiDAR, sonar, high-resolution CCTV with virtual pan, tilt and zoom, and gas and temperature sensors, and its data quantifies corrosion and debris, alignment and bend radius, flow height, pipe size, ovality and virtual mandrel, as well as laser/sonar topographic mapping. It works in pipes from 36 to 240 in (915-6,000 mm) at any water level from empty to full, through a 24 in (610 mm) access, and is shown in low and high sensor configurations.
