CSG PIR-300 substation inspection robot

DESCRIPTION

PIR-300 is a Mobile-Robots from CSG Smart Science / Technology Co., Ltd. (Geekplus Technology Co.). It is built for Inspection, Monitoring, Patrol. Key figures: 480 min runtime.

The PIR-300 is CSG Smart's wheeled substation inspection robot, designed to the requirements of smart substations to inspect equipment across the whole site without a human patrol. It navigates, positions and charges itself and follows inspection routes autonomously. A pan-tilt head combines infrared thermal imaging with HD video to read meters accurately and detect overheating caused by current or voltage problems, so defects are found early. An AI vision library recognises targets with over 95% accuracy, and the robot can scan, update and stitch maps large enough for a 300,000 m2 substation. Reflector-free laser navigation repeats positions to within 1 cm, two-way voice intercom is built in, and it patrols for more than 8 hours on a charge.
