DESCRIPTION

The PHYBOT C1 is the company's first embodied intelligent companion and the machine that established the design language its larger C2 successor inherited. It stands 1,280 mm — deliberately scaled, PHYBOT says, to a child's perspective — and weighs no more than 28 kg, light enough to pick up and move between rooms or take outdoors. Its distinguishing feature is a built-in imaging and projection module: rather than communicating through voice and movement alone, it can throw an HD image onto a wall in front of whoever it is talking to, which PHYBOT frames as multimodal interaction rather than as a novelty. A breathing light ring around the head carries emotional cues, the outer shells can be ordered in custom colours, and the body uses soft materials for safe contact indoors. Underneath it carries more than 25 degrees of freedom — 5 per arm, 6 per leg, 1 at the waist and 2 in the head — driven by PHYBOT's own quasi-direct-drive cycloidal joint modules peaking at 244 N·m on a 72 V bus, with a removable 6 Ah battery and a 9-axis IMU. PHYBOT sells it for exhibition guiding and front-desk reception as readily as for family companionship, with customisable guiding routines and narration.
