DESCRIPTION

Optima-Drive is an Educational-Robots from Zarnitza. It is built for Research, Education, Robotics education. Key figures: 120 min runtime, price 193,000 RUB.

Optima-Drive is Zarnitza's teaching mobile robot for studying real-time operating systems and autonomous mobile-robot control. Four individually motored omnidirectional wheels carry a lidar with 12 m range over 180 degrees, eight ultrasonic sensors that detect obstacles up to 4 m away, a forward camera, a 9-axis IMU, an 8-channel line sensor and a two-axis pan-tilt head with a machine-vision module (+/-270 degrees horizontal, +/-100 degrees vertical). A two-level controller - Raspberry Pi 5 with an Arduino Mega 2560 - supports Arduino, C/C++, Python and preinstalled ROS 2, it reaches 0.6 m/s, runs up to 2 hours on a 12 V LiPo battery and can carry the Optima Pro arm as a mobile manipulator.
