DESCRIPTION
Open Shuttle Fork is a Mobile-Robots from KNAPP. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 480 min runtime, 1500 kg payload.
The KNAPP Open Shuttle Fork is an autonomous mobile robot for pallet transport. It moves EUR pallets, industrial, plastic and CHEP pallets, box pallets, stillages, racks and special load carriers between goods-in, pallet storage, production and shipping, cutting forklift traffic and manual handling without any added fixed infrastructure. Its integrated electric lifter picks pallets up from the floor and sets them down at any height from 0 to 1,200 mm, so it can serve floor positions, transfer stations and automated pallet racking. It carries up to 1,500 kg, handles load carriers up to 1,200 x 1,200 x 2,300 mm (larger on request) and travels at up to 1.5 m/s. Camera-based pallet detection compensates for position errors of up to +/-70 mm and +/-10 degrees. It runs more than eight hours per charge, drives itself to its charger when low and recharges in about 60 minutes. Blue warning lights, 3D obstacle detection, localisation scanners with 360-degree coverage and active obstacle avoidance make it safe in live operation, and barcode detection is available as an add-on. It is CE-marked, conforms to ISO 3691-4, supports VDA 5050 and can share paths with Open Shuttle container robots and other vehicles under KNAPP's KiSoft FCS fleet control. Customers include Fronius (16 robots), Brodrene Dahl (8) and Cummins, whose fleet handles up to 2,000 transport orders a day.
