DESCRIPTION
Hobbs W1 is Noetix's wheeled bionic humanoid and, per the company, the first complete machine of its kind with 54 active degrees of freedom — the step from a static interactive bust to a robot with a full body that can actually do things. It stands 1,700 mm and fuses robotic arms and dexterous hands with a wheeled mobile platform, adding indoor autonomous navigation so it can move between visitors rather than wait for them. It keeps the Hobbs family's bionic head: 2.8 kg, platinum silicone, 32 active and 8 passive degrees of freedom for micro-expressions and lip-sync. A 32 Ah lithium pack at 21-29.4 V gives six to eight hours of operation, recharging in 6.5 hours normally or two hours fast, and connectivity is dual-band 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.
