DESCRIPTION

MORK 110 is a Mobile-Robots from Indy Associates. It is built for Customer-Service, Guiding, Reception. Key figures: released 2020.

MORK 110, also known as JET, is a 110 cm remote-operated guidance robot that Indy Associates co-developed with Japan Airlines (JAL) for helping passengers in airports. It is about 30 cm taller than the standard MORK so that passengers standing in a queue can see it and talk to it without bending down, and its design borrows from an aircraft: wing-shaped arms, painted window patterns along its sides and jet-engine intakes on its lower body. A ticket-scanning camera in its chest lets a passenger hold up a ticket so the operator can check its details, and an around-view camera and collision-prevention sensors support safe operation. The second-generation JET was delivered to JAL in June 2020 for the baggage screening area at Haneda Airport, following a first 80 cm JET in 2019.
