DESCRIPTION
mini MORK is a Service-Robots from Indy Associates. It is built for Customer-Service, Guiding, Reception. Key figures: 5 kg, released 2021.
mini MORK is Indy Associates' 46 cm tabletop guidance robot, introduced in 2021 and designed for remote operation with optional AI functions. It has no mobile base and is installed at a counter, where its head turns up, down, left and right, its body turns left and right and its small arms point the way or make simple gestures. A camera sits behind 2 mm smoked-acrylic eyes, a MEMS microphone behind the mouth and speakers behind four openings in the belly. Setup only needs a wired internet connection: the operator plugs a controller into a PC and logs in through a web browser, and one operator can run several robots at once. Options include an AI mode for unattended operation, face recognition, automatic announcements and links to digital signage. It runs on an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX with a Linux OS, weighs about 5 kg and draws 50 W, and has served as a guide at Haneda and Okayama Momotaro airports and at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
