Dolphin Explorer E50 is a robotic pool cleaner rated for pools up to 50 ft long. It cleans the floor, walls and waterline. The waterline — where the scum line forms and where hand-cleaning is most tedious — is scrubbed as part of the cycle. Maytronics lists it for in-ground and above-ground rectangular, round, free-form, kidney pools. It runs 2 brushes, actively driven. Filtration pulls about 4,000 gallons an hour through a multi-layer, reached from the top. A default cycle runs 2 hours, and a weekly timer can schedule it. The cable runs on an anti-tangle swivel so the robot does not wind itself up. It is controlled from the MyDolphin™ Plus app. The robot weighs 19.228 lb (8.7 kg). Maytronics' US list price is $2,099.
