MARC 5470 is the narrow 18-inch-wide size of MuL Technologies' MARC 5 Series Mobile Autonomous Robotic Cart, a two-shelf utility cart on a robotic base that carries parts and goods between work areas without a driver. Three lidars, high-resolution 3D depth cameras and eight proximity sensors build its own map and avoid obstacles in real time, so it needs no Wi-Fi, tape, beacons or IT integration. Staff program a stop by pushing the cart there and holding one of ten numbered buttons, then send it by pressing the button. It is 1,213 mm long and 1,035 mm high with 3.5 inches of ground clearance, carries up to 136 kg at up to 1 m/s and runs up to 12 hours on a 24 V 30 Ah lithium-ion pack; the 5 Series adds AI navigation, a low-variance route mode and Continuous Position Awareness.
