DESCRIPTION
The Magic Panda is the strangest and most specific product in MagicLab's range: a bionic panda quadruped built as a performance-grade replica of the robot that appeared on China Media Group's Spring Festival Gala, sold as a Chinese New Year limited release with a unique collection serial number, a commemorative coin and a certificate. Underneath the wool fur it is a serious machine — 12 degrees of freedom driven by 12 aluminium-alloy precision joint motors, approximately 37.5 N·m maximum joint torque, 3,200 W peak power and the same 8-core CPU as the rest of the family. It measures 110 cm long and 65 cm tall standing, dropping to 40 cm prone, and runs on a quick-release 29.6 V 8,200 mAh pack. MagicLab lists patrol mode, motion stunts and OTA upgrades among its capabilities, and shows it working large-scale group performances, commercial and brand events, cultural and tourist attractions, family companionship and educational popularisation. The engineering claim it makes is about faithfulness rather than capability — recreating a panda's gait and the warm touch of its fur.
